Hi.
I've found that definition of HSE_VALUE is incorrect. In file stm32f7xx_hal_conf.h, this value is defined in 25Mhz, when should be 8MHz.
Once this is corrected, the uart speed works fine without need of auxiliary functions

yes, MCO stands for Master Clock Output . It is corresponding to ST-LINK microcontroller

It is a pity there are no notifications of answers actualizations

The 8 MHz is named "MCO" through SB149 jumper in the processor side, in the st_link side the "MCO" line through the SB112 jumper.

Hi Rafael, the stm32f767 uses 8MHz from STLINK module , is the CLOCKOUT of the stm32f103
